Feng Shui For Your Career
Career is usually the number one concern many people has whenever they consult me on their Bazi or Feng Shui. So, how can one really benefit from the use of Feng Shui in this aspect?
Firstly, the most important "ingredient" must still be present and that is hard work. Feng Shui is not a tool that works like magic by bringing everything to you on the table.
To tap into Feng Shui to give you a boost in your career, you need to determine the type of Feng Shui energy you need. Base on your own Kua number which is calculated from your Year of Birth data, there are 4 positive and 4 negative directions. And you should choose one of the most suitable option out of the positive directions. To select the one which is most suitable for your Career would depend on your main job function.
But first, let us look at the calculation method to determine your Kua number.
Calculating the Kua Number
* If you are a male, add the last 2 digits from your Year of Birth until you get a single digit. Take 10 to minus this number and the resultant is your Kua Number. (Note: If this resultant number is 5, your Kua number should become Kua 2)
* If you are a female, add the llast 2 digits from your Year of Birth until you get a single digit. Take 5 and add to this number and the resultant is your Kua Number. (Note: If this resultant number is 5, your Kua number should become Kua 8)
East and West Grouping
* East Group : You belong to this group if your Kua number is 1, 3, 4 and 9.
* West Group : You belong to this group if your Kua number is 2, 6, 7 and 8.
EAST GROUP
If you belong to the East Group, your personal favorable directions are North, South, East and Southeast. Among the different Kua numbers in this group, they each have different type of energy for the different directions above.
Kua 1 : Southeast is Sheng Qi, East is Tian Yi, South is Yan Nian and North is Fu Wei.
Kua 3 : South is Sheng Qi, North is Tian Yi, Southeast is Yan Nian and East is Fu Wei.
Kua 4 : North is Sheng Qi, South is Tian Yi, East is Yan Nian and Southeast is Fu Wei.
Kua 9 : East is Sheng Qi, Southeast is Tian Yi, North is Yan Nian and South is Fu Wei.
WEST GROUP
If you belong to the West Group, your personal favorable directions are Northwest, Southwest, Northeast and West.
Kua 2 : Northeast is Sheng Qi, West is Tian Yi, Northwest is Yan Nian and Southwest is Fu Wei.
Kua 6 : West is Sheng Qi, Northeast is Tian Yi, Southwest is Yan Nian and Northwest is Fu Wei.
Kua 7 : Northwest is Sheng Qi, Southwest is Tian Yi, Northeast is Yan Nian and West is Fu Wei.
Kua 8 : Southwest is Sheng Qi, Northwest is Tian Yi, West is Yan Nian and Northeast is Fu Wei.
TYPES OF ENERGY
So, what are the differences among these 4 types of energy - Sheng Qi, Tian Yi, Yan Nian and Fu Wei.
* Sheng Qi : This energy is what many people like to term it as a "Wealth Star". I prefer to call it a Star of Opportunuity! "Sheng" in Chinese means to grow and together "Sheng Qi" is about progress, generating, improvement. Hence, it brings about new opportunities and subsequently, financial gain and power.
* Tian Yi : This is the "Health star" as it helps enhance good health and bring strong life force and vitality.
* Yan Nian : This is a "Relationship star" as it helps enhance positive relations and improve harmony. It's about reinforcing bonds and developing new network.
* Fu Wei : This is a star that brings stability and gradual progress and enhance peace and tranquility.
DECIDING WHICH STAR TO USE
Now that you have understood the different stars' characteristics and qualities, you then select the most suitable option. For example, if you are doing a Sales job, then you should tap into the Sheng Qi direction to help you develop new opportunities. Vice versa, if you are into Research work, you should go for Fu Wei as the peace and calming effect will help you to focus. If your job requires a lot of customer servicing and relations management, then you should tap into Yan Nian direction.
So, enjoy finding your best direction and use it to boost your career progress.
