The consequences of using a BAD Feng Shui sector

In the Eight Mansions theory under the Classical Feng Shui system, the most unfavorable “qi” or energy is 绝命 (pronounced as Jue Ming). In direct translation, it literally means the end of life! How fearful that seems to be hence, it’s no wonder many clients and students who come across this term would raise an eyebrow and flashes an uneasy expression.

So, what does this energy really mean and do all houses get influenced by the Jue Ming “qi”? Is the influence as bad as what its name says? The answer is “yes” if certain conditions are fulfilled.

Before we explore further into what will trigger the activation of the qi, let’s first understand a little about the effects it can bring about. Out of the 4 unfavorable “qi” in the study of Eight Mansions theory, Jue Ming is the most undesirable as it can bring about issues that range from major illness, career obstacles and in some instances cause events that are life threatening and dangerous. It takes a lot of courage and mental strength to be prepared and to go through these events.

DO ALL HOUSES HAVE JUE MING "QI"?
So, do all houses get influenced by the Jue Ming “qi”? Yes, unless that sector is missing in the layout of the house. This is typical of houses which are irregular in shape.

As long as the Jue Ming “qi” is present in the house, there is a possibility of being influenced by it and this depends on our External Environment which is the surroundings of the property. Feng Shui influence is largely coming from our external surroundings therefore, what goes on or the happenings or activities in these places have a strong and immediate impact on us.

WHAT TRIGGERS THE "QI" TO REACT?
One of the most common trigger of the “qi” is renovation or construction works. Most of the time, these activities are also carried out over long durations of a few years, therefore, it’s crucial to be extra mindful whenever you notice these activities happening in your surroundings. Be mindful in terms of the decisions or actions you take or do at work and even with regards to your personal health. This is all about taking positive human actions to overcome any possible negative events that could be caused by the Jue Ming “qi”.

On top of that, ensuring that your internal Feng Shui layout is favorable is another solution that can help you tide through the challenging period.

In summary, heighten your awareness of your surroundings and adjust your personal human actions and your house feng shui layout and you can overcome the negative impact of any unfavorable “qi”.
